The HITECH Act of the Stimulus Bill represents what many small to medium practices are eagerly awaiting..….. an unique opportunity to receive significant financial assistance to deploy Electronic Health Records. However, meeting the qualifications to receive financial assistance by 2011 will require early planning and an investment of time and energy.

The HITECH Act of the stimulus bill is still being defined, however, there are specific steps that you can take today to position your organization to receive the maximum benefit financially.
The EHR selection and deployment process will take several months and if your practice has already deployed an EHR you will need to meet several qualifying requirements and have the maximum number of providers “go live”.
